There are also two distinct forms of empathy:
  1. Empathy, which is expressed in the experience of the same emotions that the opponent is experiencing.
  2. Empathy, manifested in the emergence of personal feelings about the situation in which the interlocutor is.

It is possible to determine the empathic abilities of a person in early childhood. Such babies react too actively to the problems of their parents or their environment - they start crying when they hear crying, increased tone, swearing. Forms of empathic ability

In empaths, psychologists also distinguish between two separate types of empathic states:

  1. Sympathy. An ability that is formed on the appearance of a personal sensory attitude to an event that occurs with an opponent.

Increased. Empaths of this level of development perceive other people's pain and emotions without much harm to themselves. They show a sincere interest in the interlocutor's problems, but maintain some delicate distance. Such personalities are communicative, social, they easily find a common language with any person.

Normal. The most common level of empathic ability. It manifests itself as a good, innate gift for understanding the problems of strangers. Such a person is not indifferent to other people's troubles and is responsive to help. The increased participation in troubles and problems on the part of the empath falls on loved ones and relatives, rather than on outsiders.

Short. There are also people who have no sense of empathy at all. These personalities are also called "anti-empaths". They are not flexible thinking and are not able to look at the problem from the outside. Nothing will force them to accept the opponent's position if it differs from their own.

Anti-empaths are completely focused on personal life and problems, they experience some discomfort among outsiders. They are bright egocentrics-introverts with a narrow circle of friends and pronounced problems in the ability to contact others.
