  The neck can even be made from wooden materials , but of course it will be too thick and not strong enough (although it is suitable for small scales). To make the neck of a tree you need to take hard wood, for example, you can take birch. The diameter of such a neck should be about 40mm. Such a bar will withstand no more than 50 kg.

Home-made pancakes for our bar

Of course, it is best to order pancakes at the factory. Although it is expensive for the money. But you can also make them yourself from steel or concrete.   It is even easier than with the neck: first you need to calculate the size and diameter of the bore. It is also necessary to make the edging of the desired size of wood or plywood. After making the edging, you need to pour the solution itself inside (we make a solution of cement and sand), but do not forget to reinforce the disk with a wire mesh cut out in the shape of a circle. One such pancake should dry for about three days. After drying, it is advisable to pour water on it, and even let it dry for a few days, so it becomes even stronger. Concrete pancakes are much smaller than steel (or cast iron).
