(ghazania) is a popular flowerbed plant, found in nature in South Africa. Flowers resemble a large daisy or gerbera. Previously, gatsania was a typical greenhouse plant that was cut for bouquets (like eustoma, which the publication is dedicated to). Today, gatsania is equally successfully grown indoors, as well as in containers and flowerpots (for a balcony, loggia, patio) and of course in the garden.

Accurate adherence to the deadlines for landing in open ground will allow you to get a healthy and beautiful gatsanyu.  Planting and care (photos of these procedures below) begin with an assessment of seed quality.

ON THE PICTURE: Hazania seeds are medium in size and have pubescence, like most plants of the Asteraceae family, their germination depends on the collection age. Seeds stored for more than two years should not be used.

When to sow gatsanyu?

To determine the time when sowing seedlings on seedlings, it is necessary to take into account that flowering occurs 80-100 days after sowing. Prolonged flowering (from June to autumn) can be obtained if the gazania is sown in February or March.

In the middle zone, sowing is carried out at home, direct sowing of seeds into the soil is possible only in the southern regions.

  How to sow gatsanyu seedlings?

The soil for seedlings is taken light, slightly acidic or neutral (pH 5.5–6.5). Waterlogging is unacceptable, therefore drainage is applied.

Before sowing, place the seeds between the cotton pad moistened with water. This is done to assess the quality of seeds and accelerate their germination. At room temperature, seeds give roots on the 2-3rd day.

For growing from gazanii seeds, it is necessary to provide a temperature of + 18–20 ° C. At temperatures below + 10 ° C seeds will not germinate.

Where and how to sow gatsaniyu?

Seeds are planted in peat tablets, pots for seedlings or in a common container. Sprouted seeds are individually laid out on the soil surface in separate pots (or tablets). If planting is carried out in a box, there should be a distance of 2–3 cm between the seeds. To save space, lay out the seeds in a checkerboard pattern. A thin layer of soil is poured in from above, not more than 1 cm. You can simply press the seeds to the ground.

ON THE PICTURE:It is convenient to sow gatsaniya in specialized cassettes for flower seedlings. Subsequently, such seedlings will be conveniently removed from the individual cell. Thin roots of plants will not be damaged.

After sowing, the soil is moistened with a spray gun and the container is covered with a film. Before the emergence of shoots boxes placed in a warm place (+ 20-25 ° C), it is possible near the battery.Every day it is important to air landing. To avoid excessive moisture, clean the condensate regularly.

Shoots appear unevenly. Part of the seed can germinate in 3-4 days. The maximum term of emergence of shoots is up to 2 weeks.
ON THE PICTURE:  Gatsania "Kiss" ("Kiss") is distinguished by a bright contrasting strip in the center of the petal. It is noticed that the seeds of this hybrid series germinate longer than other popular varieties.

How to grow healthy squash seedlings?

To do this, you must fulfill several conditions:

  • immediately after germination and before planting at a permanent place, seedlings should be kept at a temperature of 15-16 ° C;
  • seedlings should have a long light day (8 - 10 hours);
  • watering as the land dries, waterlogging is unacceptable;
  • hardening of plants in the open air 3 - 4 hours before disembarking to a permanent place.

You can create a suitable temperature on a heated loggia or in a separate room in a country house.

In the conditions of central Russia, it is impossible to obtain a healthy plant without the use of additional lighting. With a short light day the seedlings stop growing and die. Artificial lighting is carried out once a day (in the evening) for 6–8 hours or in two stages (morning and evening) for 3-4 hours. From the end of March, the natural light day is lengthened and additional lighting can be removed.

2 weeks after germination, the first additional fertilizing with complex fertilizer is carried out, then 1 time in 2 weeks.

  When to dive gazanyu?

The pick is done very early: as soon as the plants start to emerge, until the first true leaf appears. This usually happens. on the 7-8th day after germination.

The gazania pick is limited to transplanting into a new tank. Remove part of the root, as is done with a full-scale picking, not necessary!

How to dive gazanyu: the choice of capacity

The main purpose of a gatsania picking is to place the plant in a separate deep tank, where it can grow before planting in open ground. The gazania should develop a long taproot, therefore the individual pot should be large enough (500 ml.) To ensure then a careful transplant with a clod of earth to a permanent place. It is preferable to use individual peat pots. In this case, the plant will not receive damage during planting.

ON THE PICTURE:The root of the seedling gatsaniya several times higher than the height of the shoot. When picking, it is very important not to damage it for successful plant survival.

Preparation gazanii to disembark at a permanent place

A month before landing in the ground begins hardening of plants. First, a brief airing of the room through the window is carried out. Seedlings should not fall into the draft. A few days before planting we take the plants out to the open air for several hours a day. The place must be protected from the wind.

ON THE PICTURE: The gazania seedlings, ready for planting, have about ten developed true leaves and budding buds.

Gatsania: planting, as well as caring for an adult plant

Landing gatsanii in open ground or a pot is held in May or early June, when frosts are unlikely.  The timing of when planting gatsanii directly depend on the region. In Moscow it is usually the end of June - the beginning of June. In Siberia, the beginning - the middle of June.

ON THE PICTURE:After landing in the ground gatsaniya will benefit from mulching stone sifting or pebbles. Heating up for a day, the natural stone will give off heat to the heat-loving African woman during the cool night hours.

The place is chosen the brightest, without excess moisture. Gatsania prefers lightweight and non-greasy soil. The distance between plants is 25-30 cm. The soil is pre-fertilized. Gazania is planted carefully, without breaking the clod of earth around the root, for this they use a long garden shovel. The flower is rarely watered, only in the case of drought.

ON THE PICTURE:Gazania is extremely effective in group plantings. The space between the plants can also be mulched with wood chips or tree bark.

  How to save gatsanyu winter?

The best temperature for wintering gatsanii - + 9-11 ° C.Therefore, to leave this heat-loving plant on the street for the winter is impossible. If gatsaniya planted in a pot, it must be brought into the room. From open ground plant carefully, with a lump of earth transplanted into a flower pot, and also entered into the house.

Do not forget about the vulnerability of the root system gatsany. Even with a slight damage to the root, the plant may die.

Winter watering should be minimal when the land is dry. It is advisable to organize artificial lighting for 8-10 hours a day.

Spring shoots shortened by half. Gatsaniya again planted in open ground or put the pot on the street.

Gazania or Gazaniathis is one of the brightest representatives of the Astrov family. This "native" of Africa has successfully taken root in our climate and has become the darling of many gardeners. Gazania is also called African chamomile.

Did you know? Flowers ghazania fully disclosed only on sunny days.

Gazania: description of the plant

This perennial low-growing shrub grows mainly on rubbly, loose soils in arid areas. The shape of the leaves collected in the basal rosette is finger-dissected, linear, elongate-lanceolate or pinnate. To retain moisture, they have a special pubescence.

A root form helps the plant to get water from the depths of the soil. Inflorescences reach from 5 to 10 cm in diameter. There may be different shades, depending on the type and variety of plants (red, orange, yellow, white). In the center of a large basket are placed small tubular flowers, where seeds are formed.

Planting gazanii how to grow gazania from seed

Gatsania, according to expert flower growers, is the plant is quite capricioustherefore, planting and caring for it in the open field has a number of features that you need to know.

When to sow ghazania

February-March is considered to be the optimal time for planting a gazania, since it is at this time that the daylight hours significantly increase. Dates are calculated based on the fact that from the appearance of the first shoots to the flowering of the plant takes 2.5-4 months. In the case of earlier planting, shoots may be weak due to the lack of natural light.

Did you know? In specialized enterprises, they also practice winter planting of grass, highlighting sprouts with powerful lamps.

Where to sow gatsanyu

Gatsania requires careful cultivation and care at all stages, starting with the preparation of the soil for planting seeds.

The soil should be light, well-drained, with a pH of 5.8-6.2 and an EC of 0.5-0.75, especially if the plant is first planted in cassettes.

After 5-7 weeks after planting seeds in 25 ml cassettes and after 5-6 weeks, if the volume of the cassettes was smaller, the plants should be transplanted into pots. It is necessary to place the seeds one by one. They survive their germination for 2 years.

Important! As an option, plant an African chamomile in special peat pots or pills.

How to sow ghazania

Before planting, the soil is slightly compacted and moistened. Seeds are placed at a distance of 2-3 cm from each other in a checkerboard pattern, covered with a thin layer of earth and copiously sprayed with water. Then the tapes are covered with foil and neatly wrapped in transparent polyethylene, leaving some air. It is necessary to put a design in the light, warm room.

Thus, the main conditions for the earliest emergence of shoots will be provided - high humidity, sufficient lighting and air temperature of 21-24 ° C. Periodically, the soil with seeds must be sprayed, and the mini-greenhouse must be aired. Seeds will germinate on the 6-14th day.

How to care for seedlings gazanii

After the appearance of friendly shoots, the temperature in the greenhouse is reduced to 15-18 ° C. Also reduce watering. A few days after the mass shoots, when the first leaves had not yet appeared, you need swoop down gazania. To do this, use both plastic and peat pots. At the same time should pinch the largest root.

If there is no time or desire to engage in diving seedlings, sow the seeds should be away from each other and in large containers. 7-10 days after picking feed gazania  complex mineral fertilizer. If necessary, repeat the procedure.

Before landing in open ground seedlings hardenby regularly taking out the fresh air.

Planting gazania in open ground

Experienced experts recommend planting a plant in the second half of May - the first half of June. Bushes should be placed at a distance of at least 20 cm from each other. Then African daisy very soon will delight with flowers. But the first of them must be removed so that the plant gains strength and strengthens the root system.

Gatsania: plant care rules

Grown flowers require some care. Only then can we expect that the plant will please with lush forms and abundant flowering.

How to water gazania

Gazania is a guest from hot countries in our flower beds, so it tolerates drought well. Much more harm to the plant will cause excessive watering, in which the roots begin to rot.

There is a risk of developing diseases, including gray mold. African chamomile needs only additional dry summer days without rain. It will save from chopping flowers.

Top dressing and care of the soil

10-15 days after planting the plant in open ground, it is necessary to feed it with complex mineral fertilizers.   Add 20-25 g of fertilizer per 1 square. m of soil.

In the future, this procedure is repeated once a month until flowering. The frequency of feeding can be increased in the case of growing plants in poor soil and in containers. Before and after fertilizing the land must be watered.

Caring for the soil is a periodic (once every 2-3 weeks) removal of weeds and loosening the soil.

Trimming gazanii

Pruning gazanii is to regularly harvest dried flowers, so that the plant does not spend on them power. And although the seeds develop here, bushes do not multiply by self-sowing.

How to keep ghazania in winter

Caring for gatzania in the winter is not difficult. Since this is a heat-loving plant, it is impossible to leave it in the ground for the winter, it will surely die. It is better to transplant bushes in boxes or large pots and leave in a cool place until spring.

Important! The temperature in the room where gazania is located in winter should not fall below zero degrees.

Another option for preserving African chamomile in the winter - grow it in vases. When the onset of the first frost, you just need to pick up the plant in the house. If you want it to bloom longer, you should provide additional illumination.

In winter, the plant needs watering only to the extent that the soil does not dry out, but no more.

Blooming gazania

Gatsania is just a godsend for florists. This flower is surprisingly unpretentious, easy to grow and at the same time so beautiful that it will not leave anyone indifferent. Perhaps this plant has only one small drawback. Growing a gazania from seed requires some patience. From germination to flowering takes 3 - 4 months. But then it will delight you with its continuous flowering to the frost.

Growing sprouts seedlings

What is needed soil for sowing seeds.

The seedling gatsanii not demanding on the composition of the soil. It grows poorly only on heavy, clay soils, preferring light, breathable ground. If you want to prepare your own soil mixture, then mix in equal parts of forest land, sand and humus. Sift the mixture obtained at least through a large sieve (you can use the mesh from the old iron bed). It will be very difficult to work with not sifted earth. From store soils fit any intended for the cultivation of flowers.

  When to sow gatsanyu.

Gatsaniya planted in late November

This question is asked more often than others. There are two options for planting:

Option 1. If you grow gatsaniya seedlings for yourself, then sow better in late February or early March. At this time, it already becomes much warmer and the light day is rather long. Your seedlings will develop rapidly and in June they will delight you with the first flowers.

Option 2. It is more suitable for those who grow flowers for sale. In this case, flowering should begin in late April. To gatsaniya bloomed at this time will have to plant it in the fall, it is better in early November. In winter, seedlings grow very slowly. The time from sowing seeds to flowering is increased to 5 - 6 months. And from planting any plants in December, it is better to refuse altogether. In all plants, this is a period of deep dormancy and seed germination is very bad.

Sowing gazanii on seedlings

Spread the seeds in shallow grooves, or just evenly scatter on the ground. Lightly sprinkle with earth, moisten well. Cover with glass or plastic and leave at room temperature. how

usually shoots appear within a week.

Picking seedlings

Picks seedlings spend 1.5 months after germination. When picking, you do not need to deepen the seedlings. The seedling gazanii practically does not stretch. Even if it grows with insufficient lighting and with thickened plantings. If you grow only a few bushes, you can immediately arrange the seeds into cups and no pickling is required.

Under what conditions to grow gazanii seedlings

The optimum temperature for growing seedlings 18 - 20 degrees. Watering moderate. After picking, once a 10 days feed plants with any full flower fertilizer. It will be very good if you grow a gatsaniyu in the winter, you take care of the backlight. And although this condition is very

desirable, but still not mandatory. All plants that you see in the photos are grown without lighting. All photos were taken in early March.

Landing gazanii

Planted seedlings in the ground can be at the end of May. Leave a distance between the bushes 20-30 cm. Gatsania loves sunny places and is not afraid of drafts. Do not plant it in low, damp places.

Flower care

This flower is not demanding to care. But with monthly top dressings it will be much better to bloom. Water is not often, but plentiful. If the flowers are planted in flowerpots, then it is necessary to feed complex fertilizer 3 times a month.

  How to collect seeds

Gatsania or ghazania is a South African plant, named after the Italian priest Theodore Gatz. The flower belongs to the Astrav family and includes about 40 species, including new hybrid ones, artificially bred by breeders.

How to grow ghazania from seed?

To grow seedlings of gazania from seeds at home, you need to be patient, because the process is quite long and requires compliance with many nuances.

The timing of planting depends on the terrain and climate. If the spring is late in your region, it’s not too early to plant the seeds, because they don’t have enough light. But it is not necessary to delay the planting, since in this case it will bloom much later. It is optimal to start landing work in mid-April.

If you are growing a flower for the first time, you are interested in knowing how gazania seeds look. They are quite large, round shape. Thanks to this size of the seeds, they can easily be sown one by one.

You can plant seedlings in peat tablets, individual cups or in a deep box. The soil for seeds should be light, well drained and. If you plant gazania in a box, place the seeds in a staggered manner with a distance of 2-3 cm. Sprinkle the seeds on top with powdered soil or simply firmly press them to the soil.

Spray them out of the spray gun, cover with a film and place in a warm and well-lit place. Ventilate the mini-greenhouse daily and remove condensate. The first shoots will appear after 1-2 weeks.

If you grow gazania in your common capacity, then after the appearance of the 4th leaf, the seedlings should be transferred to peat pots and removed for growing to a cooler place, for example, to a heated, unheated loggia. You can slightly open the window for hardening plants.

With the onset of heat and lengthening of the solar period, seedlings will begin to grow faster. In open ground sprouts can be planted at 12-16 weeks after planting seeds.

Caring for flower gazania at home

In winter, African chamomile can be transplanted into slides and flowerpots and continue to grow on the windowsill. The soil for the plant should be nutritious and light. At the bottom of the pot must be a layer of expanded clay or vermiculite.

The place for wintering the flower should be light - a sunny window or balcony. On cloudy days, ghazania must be highlighted additionally. Overwintering plant in spring can be returned to the flower bed.

African chamomile, ghazania, midday gold are other names of this flowering representative of the Asteraceae family. Today, unpretentious, but with a high degree of decorativeness flower from hot Africa, more and more often can be seen in gardens, parks and even apartments. The article describes the varieties of African chamomile and tips on caring for this plant.

There are more than 40 species of African chamomile. Despite such a variety, hybrid varieties bred as a result of breeding, with unusual characteristics of inflorescences, leaves and stems, fell in love with gardeners. In temperate latitudes, gazania, which was originally a perennial, is grown as an annual plant.

Linear gaucia

The Latin name is Gazania linearis. Differs in the presence of a beautiful rosette of carved, downy leaves and bright yellow or orange flowers with spots or stripes on the petals, which will please the eye until the onset of cold weather. Gazania linear tolerates both low temperatures and drought.  The plant is recommended to be planted in May in sunny places.

Long-rifle gatsaniya

Also known as Gazania longiscapa. The African chamomile of this species is a low (about 20 cm) plant with slightly split leaves and large yellow-golden flowers. If gazania flowers are reed, a brown shade may be seen at their base.   August - the beginning of the flowering period of this species, which lasts until frost.

Long-rifle gatsaniya

Gatsania brilliant (harsh)

Another name is Gazania splendens hort. The species has been cultivated since the end of the 18th century and is most in demand among gardeners as an annual. What is his secret? As a rule, this semi-shrub plant (the length of stems reaches 30 cm) is especially attractive due to its abundant and colorful flowering. For one season the bush can give life to 35 inflorescences! The flowers of this variety are somewhat similar to the gerbera:  the same large single baskets, which turned their heads directly to the sun. Gazania brilliant decorated with them from July to November.

Gatsania peacock

The Latin equivalent is Gazania pavonia.   It is considered shrub; in the wild - perennial, grown in Russia as an annual plant. Distinctive features: solid or slightly carved pubescent very narrow leaves, green on top, whitish from below. Inflorescences consist of large flowers; tubular flowers are colored yellow, and reed - bright orange, have a dark base.

Gatsania hybrid

Gazania x hybrida is the varieties bred by breeders that have made Gazania so popular in floriculture. The main difference between these varieties from the original species is open inflorescences, regardless of whether it is a sunny day or not. A variety of hybrids was achieved due to the shape of flowers (“chamomile”, semi-double and terry) and their color range. Baskets can be red, bright orange, yellow, pink, lemon, beige, bronze, crimson and purple.   The only disadvantage of these varieties is the impossibility of seed multiplication:  plants simply do not give them.

Gatsaniya Potsi

Latin name - Gazania potsii. It is a harsh variety of ghazania, therefore it differs little from it. However, it is difficult not to pay attention to the huge size of bright flowers - their diameter can reach 12 cm!

Gatsania hybrid

Gatsania sunlight

Other variety names:   Sonnenschein, Gazania splenders Sunshine mixed.  This product of selection is in many respects similar to other hybrids and incredibly effectively blooms. Contrasting stripes or characteristic rings can be seen on the petals of the Sunlight. Densely leafy stems reach a height of 20-30 cm and give side shoots.

Gatsania Dybrek

Another popular hybrid among gardeners. Daybreak stands out among other varieties for its unusual coloring of inflorescences: the plant is decorated with golden, orange or red-brown flowers. The rest is the same annual   resistant to adverse conditions.

Gatsania Dybrek

Gatsania Garden Star

The representative of hybrids, this variety occupies an honorable place among the inhabitants of curb beds and flower beds. It reaches a height of 20 cm, stands out among the congeners with strong peduncles, which are planted with large bright flowers with lancet petals.   The period of flowering varieties falls on all summer and most of the autumn.

Gatsania Triad

Like the previous three, variety is miksovym.  If you plant it on your site, you can observe how baskets of white, yellowish, red or orange color bloom against the background of gray-green foliage.

Gatsania Triad

1.11.

One of the most common varieties. On the basis of gazania Kiss a whole series of hybrids with a high degree of decorativeness was bred. For a grade the average size is characteristic (20-25 cm), as well as large baskets of flowers (up to 10 cm).

Gatsaniya Talent

Removed from the sight of brilliant African chamomile; differs from it in silver leaf color and the ability to leave flowers open even in cloudy weather. Like many other varieties, Talent blooms very long and impressive.

The technology of growing gatsanii from seeds at home

Seed propagation is the most popular, but time consuming method of breeding African chamomile. In order for the beginning of summer, the flower pleases the eye with lush baskets, you must carefully prepare.

The optimal time to start breeding seedlings is February-March (for late-flowering varieties - March-April). Choosing planting time, you need to remember that the plant will begin to bloom only after three or three and a half months after it touches the soil. Further step-by-step instructions for growing gazania from seeds are presented:

  • Step 1.  Preparing pots. The basic rule is a large depth of the vessel. Peat tanks are ideal for African chamomile. For a start, you can use smaller pots, but when picking up the seedlings will need to be transplanted in a larger container, otherwise the root system will not have enough space.
  • Step 2.  Preparation of flower soil. Gazania loves a well-drained, slightly acidic soil of average humidity. A mixture consisting of peat-mix and drainage (vermiculite, coarse sand or permite) will cope well with the task.
  • Step 3. Sowing. Seeds are sown at a distance of at least 3 centimeters from each other. The landing method in staggered order is widespread. As a result, seedlings should be under a layer of soil from 0.5 to 1 cm. They can either be “pressed” slightly into the ground, or they can be dusted.

Features of growing gazania (video)

  • Step 4.  After sowing, it is necessary to sprinkle the soil with a spray gun, and then cover the pots with a transparent material: it can be glass, film or polyethylene.
  • Step 5. Waiting for germination. To seedlings ascended as early as possible, you need to comply with several important conditions. First, the temperature of the seedlings should not be below + 18 ° C. Secondly, the pots need to be put in a well-lit place. Thirdly, every day it is necessary to collect condensate from the covering material in order to prevent the seedlings from dying from an excess of moisture, and air them, each time slightly increasing the time they stay in the air for a gradual adaptation to the environment. In case of successful implementation of all recommendations, the first shoots should appear in 7-14 days.
  • Step 6. Dive. The procedure should be carried out in 2-3 weeks after seed germination, when the seedlings will have 2-3 full leaves on the stems. Each future bush is transplanted into a separate container with sufficient depth.
  • Step 7.  Hardening After a dive, the temperature is lowered by several degrees so that planting in open ground does not become a shock for young plants.

Seed propagation is the most popular, but time consuming method of breeding African chamomile.

When and how to plant a gatsaniya in open ground

Planting gazanyu in a permanent place should be after 9-10 weeks after sowing the seeds, when the threat of frost has passed (mid-May).

African daisy loves heat and light, so the most appropriate place for planting flowers will be well-lit areas where there are no drafts - their plant does not tolerate well. Also should avoid the soil adjacent to groundwater.

The soil should be light and nutritious; before planting seedlings, they dig up the earth and, if necessary, drain it with sand and compost. The technology of planting itself is quite simple: you need to carefully remove the seedlings from the pots along with a clod of earth to avoid damage to the rhizome, and then land in pre-moistened holes 15 cm deep and twice the width of the earth coma 20 cm apart. Then the seedlings are watered again and take cover at night if frost is likely.

Secrets of proper care for gatsanii

The midday sun is a gardener's dream. This culture is so unpretentious that it can adapt to almost any conditions of existence. The only thing the flower will not be able to transfer - this is waterlogging of the soil  and very low temperatures characteristic of winter Russia. It is for the latter reason that this plant in a temperate climate is grown as an annual.

In conditions of normal rainfall in the summer season, gatsania does not require irrigation. Maintain soil moisture is necessary only for those bushes that are planted in containers.   Watering should be done in the morning.so that cool water does not fall on the tender foliage warmed by the sun - the plant will get burned.

As for feeding, the gazania will thankfully respond to the complexes of mineral fertilizers; the frequency of such procedures depends on the degree of fertility of the soil: for nutrient-rich land it can be limited to 1 time in 1.5 months, and for poor land - 2 additional feedings per month. The recommended dose is 20-25 g / m2.

To maintain the desired consistency of the soil, it is necessary to regularly remove weeds and carefully loosen the soil (2-3 times a month). Lush and prolonged flowering will contribute to breaking off fading or dried inflorescences.

Collecting seeds and preparing flowers for the winter

The vast majority of gazania species and varieties do not produce seeds, but in the event of a successful combination of circumstances and a hot summer, the gardener will become the happy owner of the seed for the next year. To catch the moment when the seeds begin to pour out of the box, you can put on one of the dried flowers a homemade bag of light fabric or gauze. Preserving the seeds of the afternoon sun can last two years in a cool place.

If all the expectations of the appearance of seeds were in vain, do not despair! You can solve the problem and save the bushes in a different way: all the plants will tolerate the winter well if they are carefully transplanted back into the pots and transferred to an apartment, house or greenhouse. In addition to extremely moderate irrigation, light soil and abundance of sunlight, the main condition for wintering is the temperature not lower than + 10 ° С.

Perennial and annual African daisies in the garden decor

Thanks to its spectacular flowering and ability to grow as a dense green cover, gazania is widely used in landscape design. The most successful flower will look on the Alpine hills, against the backdrop of lawns, in containers, in flower beds and along the borders. The main condition - a high degree of illumination area.
