Building a country house 2018

  Since ancient times, the most important skill was the construction of housing. The dwelling saved people from cold, heat, wild animals. Even now, a tent is a must-have item on a camping trip. But if you find yourself in an extreme situation, then the shelter will have to find and equip yourself. This article will look at how to arrange a temporary shelter in the forest.

Shelter Classification

Shelters can be divided into the following types:

1) According to the method of construction. Open (shed, flooring) and closed (dugout, wigwam, hut).

2) By capacity. Shelter can be designed for 1 person or group.

3) According to the goal. The shelter can protect from cold, rain, snow, animals, insects.

4) By time of use. Shelter can be temporary, used for an overnight stay, a halt, weather cover. Capital shelters can serve for longer stays.

5) For the cost of power. Separated into pre-fabricated (usually temporary shelters) and labor-intensive (capital, for a long time).

6) According to the materials used. Many different materials can be used to build a shelter:
  Fabric shelters (tent, shed)
  Frame-woven (wigwams, plague)
Frame-leaved. In the absence of tissue, branches, grass, fern are used to cover the shelter.
  Earthy. Such shelters are digging in the ground.
  Snowy. Cave rummage in snowdrifts, igloo is erected from snow blocks.
  Stone

7) By origin. There may be natural (caves) and man-made.

Summer Forest Shelters

The shelter consists of three basic elements: the floor, walls and roof. Depending on the environmental conditions, some of these elements may be discarded. Consider the main types of forest shelters in the summer.

Canopy

Canopy is the easiest type of shelter. It is built quickly enough, but the functionality is very limited. Canopy can help to shelter from rain and no more.
  To build a canopy, you need polyethylene or a piece of cloth. Find two nearby trees and attach a ceiling pole to them, or stretch a rope. Put polyethylene on top and press down the ends with stones.
  If there are no trees, then several poles will fit for construction. 2 poles hammer at an angle to make a triangle. It will serve as an entrance. On top of the formed fork, lay one end of the third pole, the other end lay it on the ground. Throw a film or cloth over this pole and press down with stones.

Wigwam

It is a frame building. Able to protect from rain, wind, help keep warm. If you are going to make a fire, then take care of the hole for the hood.
  For the construction will need poles. On the ground, they are built in a circle, and on top they are joined into a bundle. The resulting structure is covered with a film or cloth. If they are not at hand, then the bark of trees can be used as a covering material. It begins to lay the bottom and fasten with willow rods.
  The frame can be constructed around a tree trunk.

Wigwam in 9 steps - master class and decor ideas

But in this case, inside it is not necessary to kindle a fire.

Adygei house

To build this type of shelter will require flexible branches or shrubs. Flexible branches must be dug into the ground in two parallel rows, and the tops fasten together. Must turn out the arch. On the arch secure horizontally branches. On the resulting crate put lapnik.
  If the terrain on which you want to build an Adyghe house is overgrown with shrubs, then instead of branches you can use standing bushes. To do this, link their tops and you uproot everything between them.

Winter Forest Shelters

In winter, the shelter can be dug right in the snow. It will take a snowdrift, if not, then it is necessary to shovel the snow into a pile.

Trench

In deep snow it is very convenient to dig a trench as a refuge. If you do not have the tools, you can trample down. The trench width should be at least 1 meter, length depending on the covering material. Having dug a trench, put rafters on top, for this purpose skis, branches will do. Cover everything with film and cloth on top, and shower it with snow 20 cm thick.

Cave in the snow

On the slopes with a very thick snow cover is best to dig snow caves. Be sure to make sure that the chance of avalanche falling is minimal on the ground.
  Knock a hole in the snow for construction and start digging a tunnel. Dig the end of the tunnel slightly at an angle to the top and expand it to the desired size. This will help warm air linger inside.

Den

Another good shelter in a snowy forest is a lair. You can build it in deep snow among the windbreak and roots. Make sure the trees do not move and proceed to the construction of the shelter. A lair is built by analogy with a cave.

Snow dugout

The construction of a snowy dugout is very similar to the construction of snow trenches. For the snow dugout need dense snow. Using a hacksaw or other tools, they cut out snow slabs, which are laid on top of the trench.

House hut do it yourself

For a long time I considered the house in the form of a hut to be a phenomenon whose roots stretched from the distant post-Soviet space. The eternal shortage of building materials, the lack of extra money and the burning desire to have a decently small house on their six acres, sooner or later, but had to give birth in the minds of our people the "devilish" plan of a house devoid of two of the four walls.

House in the form of a hut

Outwardly, such a house resembled a high roof, which the violent wind tore off overnight from the walls of a good house and even playing enough and smoking enough, set it neatly on the ground. The villager, having decided not to bother himself with unnecessary trouble, sewed up the facades with a board, put doors and windows in place, and in this form the house-hut came to our "six hundred-meter" paradise.

How huts were built

The technical part was presented by a couple of publications in one of the most popular at the time scientific and technical journal.

Hut for children with their own hands at their summer cottage

Since then, little has changed and those same quarter-century publications have been wandering from site to site until now, as guidelines and working drawings.

What gave me reason to believe that I can add something new to this question from myself? Well, probably this is a personal experience. About ten years ago, in one summer, as part of a team of free carpenters, we built two such houses-hut. The second of the reasons I would call the presence of drawings. Alone in high resolution, in Russian.

The Swedish version of the hut houses ...

By the way, Swedish bungalows are very different from our country houses. The foreign option can be both two and three-story. As one of the advantages, the opportunity to get into the sleeping rooms through a separate entrance in the roof is presented.

To me, as a person with a Russian mindset, the value of such an input seems dubious. Anthill. Let us turn to the description of general construction works on the construction of the house of the hut. Any of the houses begins with the foundation. The foundation can be tape. Well, if such a type of house owes its birth to saving, then we will consider the most low-cost options.

Hut: description of species and features of self-erection

Hut (single and double)

Tents are single and dvuhskatnymi. They are built from scrap materials: poles, spruce branches, twigs, brushwood, etc. The hut consists of two parts - the frame and insulator. Easily and quickly erected, easy to operate. In my opinion, the best option is a lean-to hut. Build it faster, and you can also be heated from the fire. Heat will warm the body more if the fire is placed along the bed. In a lean-to tent, only one minus - psychological. Since there is only one wall, there is no feeling of complete security.

When building huts it is important to consider the direction of the wind. Orient the hut should be so that the wind would flow around it on the slope.

Overnight at the fireplace

A large fire is made and maintained for a long time, until the earth warms to a depth. After the fire is burned, the coals and ashes are swept away, then the spruce leaves. As long as the earth gives off heat, you can sleep on a lap tree.

There is another option for such an overnight stay. The coals left from such a fire are buried on top with a layer of earth at 30 centimeters. And you can go to bed on this heated land.

Overnight stay

Nodja is the most convenient option for winter overnight. For a start, you will have to hang an awning or make a lean-to hut. In front of the tent (tent), a bonfire of the nodia is made along the whole bed, on the other hand, a reflector is made of scrap materials. It is better to cover the hut or awning from the sides so that the wind does not blow.

In such a shelter can spend the night a lot of people. People lie under the tent head to the tapering part, and feet to the fire. If you spend the night alone, then you should go along along the fire. It is only important to fence yourself from the fire so as not to slip towards it. It is enough to put a small log near the lounger. If there are a lot of people, then on the other side of the fire, instead of a reflector, you should hang an awning or make another single-leaning tent. So people will be able to sleep on both sides.

When building such a shelter, it is important to remember the orientation of the shelter relative to the wind.

All of the following options shelters can be modified and supplemented under certain circumstances. The main thing - the presence of ingenuity and moderate fantasy.

back to the beginning how to build huts and shelters

How to build a hut

  For a more long-term residence, the construction of a shelter-hut can be approached more thoroughly, as a simple “quick fix” hut is not quite suitable for living for a long time. When building such a tent, more effort is required, but as a result, a more comfortable stay, which means better well-being and health. The construction of this tent can take 2-7 days depending on the requests. To start building you need to clean the selected place under the hut and clean it.

Next you need to collect the main skeleton skeleton hut. To assemble the frame, you will need some kind of fastener, it is either wire, rope, cloth, nails, or something suitable for fixing, fastening, as well as an ax and a hacksaw. Construction begins with the assembly, so to speak platform, a foundation that will protect against moisture and protect against dampness.

For this, it is necessary to cut down or cut two three-meter logs, the thicker the better, they fit two meters apart, parallel to each other, and then thinner logs are laid on them one by one. These logs can be not fixed, but only extreme, so that others do not disperse.

Thus it turns out a full-fledged floor on which you can walk freely. Next on the resulting platform we put a wooden frame, dimensions in its sole discretion, the frame can be made and square, but simpler duo-pitch, it is simpler and faster during construction. And for him, we chop up, or fillet poles, which in the vertical position we nail or tie to the wire, with ropes, on the walls of the hut, it is advisable to fasten them as closely as possible to each other, the length of the poles is two, two and a half meters, in general, depends on the frame .

The back wall is also sewn up with vertical holes, and the remaining entrance can be arranged in the form of a doorway, making the frame of the doorway, and the rest can be sealed with poles, you can also make the door itself from poles, hang it on a wire or rope instead of canopies.

After the main work is completed, the finished hut needs to be rid of the numerous cracks between the poles, as the heat passes through them and the cold wind blows. For this you can use film, tarpaulin, etc. But if this is not the case, then the slots can be covered with a solution prepared from the soil, preferably clay-containing, but it can also be covered with earth. For this, a solution of the soil is mixed with the grass and stirred with the addition of water, the grass is needed for reinforcement, so that the soil does not crumble. such a putty of the gaps will keep warm well, but in the rain it will most likely wash it away. In order for it to wash out with less rain, the layer should be made as thick as possible, about 10 cm. and with a large amount of grass in the solution, but it is better to block it with a waterproof material.

After the hut is ready, it needs to be covered with earth around it, so that cold air would not come under the bottom. It can also be completely covered with a layer of soil, this will make it much warmer and if it is not blocked by a waterproof material.

  For a more comfortable stay for a long time, you can make a more complex, but better construction of a temporary shelter. Construction can begin with the manufacture of the frame. The skeleton of such a hut must be strong enough and strong. The assembly of the frame begins with the insertion of support columns on which the whole frame will be built. For this, the size of the hut is marked, the one that is needed, at will, is dug into four pillars about 50 cm in depth, and about 2 meters from the ground at will, so that you can walk inside the hut without being attached.

After the poles with the help of poles are fixed from inside along the diagonals and in the lower part at a level of 20-30 cm. From the ground around the perimeter they are tied with thick logs about 15 cm in diameter, and the upper part is also made around the perimeter. After the skeleton is ready, you can take over the walls, for this we sew from prefabricated log poles with a diameter of about 10 cm.

The walls can be sewn both vertically and horizontally, but with vertical mounting of poles the lower part overlaps - the space under the floor. Making the walls you need to immediately leave the window opening and the door, you can immediately finish them, having made a window frame and a door for entry. Once the walls of the hut are ready, you can take to the ceiling.

The ceiling is poles laid on top of the inner frame with a diameter of about 10 cm and laid one to one and fixed to nails or wire. Further, the ceiling can be immediately warmed outside, for example, it can be filled up with a small layer of soil, about 10 cm. Such a warmed ceiling will keep warm well. You can make a gable roof, also assemble the frame and sheathe with poles, and then block it with waterproof material, or just leave it as it is and block with rain material. The next stage is wall insulation. The walls can be sheathed with a film, a tarp, a soft roof, etc., but if this is not the case, then you can make a hut. That is, coat the walls with clay-containing solution.

To do this, you must first cross-cross branches on the walls of the hut, they will serve as reinforcement in order to hold a layer of clay solution, you can also add to the solution for the strength of the grass, the thickness of the solution should be 5-7 cm. additional wall insulation and protect from rain and wind. After that, you can take to the inside of the hut, this is laying the floor, the floor is also laid out with logs about 10-15 cm in diameter.

After the hut is ready to fix and finish minor deficiencies and occupy the room. In such a hut will be quite comfortable, but due to the warmed ceiling and walls, it will be kept warm, which will allow to live in it even in the fall. Such a tent is strong enough for a long stay and gives a feeling of a house, which inspires protection, stability and reliability, which is important for the "harsh" life of a hermit.

For lovers of outdoor activities, knowledge and practical ability to build a tent with their own hands is extremely necessary, because one day this skill can literally save a life. We are talking about those who like long-distance tourist expeditions through forests and mountains, canoeing on rivers or skiing on snowy slopes, fishing, hiking with herbs, berries and mushrooms.

In order to build a hut ,   no great effort is required. Having an understanding of the principle of construction of temporary structures, depending on the terrain and nature of the weather, it will be erected in a matter of hours.

Types of huts and choice of place

Exists three types  possible designs:

  1. Standing separately  - a classic type of tent in the forest or in an open area.
  2. Attachment  - live trees, shrubs, steep slopes are used as a support.
  3. Deep  - a peculiar mixture of a hut with a dugout.

In terms of survival, you may need to do hut for:

  • arrangement of the place of an overnight stay;
  • shelter from a strong wind or sweltering sun;
  • preservation of heat and dryness of things during rain, hail or snow;
  • protection from predators and insects;
  • warehouse for temporary storage of things.

If a person got lost and stayed alone at night, then he could not do without building a temporary hut in the forest. It is possible to equip a place to rest from foliage, dry moss or clothing. If necessary, inside it can even make a fire.

Where better to build a hut?It is preferable to build such temporary structures on a flat wooded area among dense plantings - lush bushes and spreading trees. They will protect from drafts and excessive attention from the inhabitants of the forest and other tourists.

Places where huts do it does not follow:

  • open meadows;
  • under sandy or rocky slopes;
  • near mountain rivers or other rugged reservoirs;
  • near single standing trees.

After choosing the most suitable place, it should be cleared of fallen leaves, twigs, stones, thorns and other things. This will provide greater comfort of being inside the hut in the forest. As well as security, if inside the building will fire.

What you need to build a tent

Such a simple temporary shelter is not difficult to build at any time of the year. Going on a journey away from civilization, it is useful to carry a folding saw, a hatchet, a knife and a rope. But in an extreme situation, they may not be at hand. In any case, to make a hut, the main thing is to get some amount of building material.

For example, in the snow-covered steppes it would be snow and branches of bushes, if they could be found. There is a lot of material in the forest: fallen trees, broken branches, broken branches, poles, stones, bark, fallen leaves, moss, grass, cones, fir branches of conifers, and so on. Unfortunately, in modern forests a lot of garbage, for example, plastic, pieces of reinforcement, plastic film, cloth - all this can also be successfully used for the construction of a hut in the forest.

In search of building materials for shelter in the first place should pay attention to their feet. It is not worth headlong breaking and destroying all living things: young trees, healthy branches and foliage of trees and bushes. It is necessary to respect the forest, and such a good attitude will return a hundredfold: predatory animals will bypass the party, the plants will shelter from cold, winds and precipitation, and the fire will warm and not burn.

Types of huts and their arrangement

All the most brilliant ideas in the construction of humanity gives nature itself. The beavers, wasps, ants, weavers, the red-eared whistler (or, in other words, the bird-bird) and many others build stunning durability and modification of the dwelling’s structures. People need only look closely and try to grasp the essence of the method of construction.

The most common are 3 types of huts: single-slope, double-slope and circular. Each of them have functional features that must be distinguished in order to construct the most suitable shelter in each particular case. For example, in winter it is better to make a hut in the shape of a pyramid or a semicircle, in strong winds it will serve as a good defense. Among other things, the type of construction depends on the area and the number of people for whom it will be built.

Leanbox

This is a shelter, which has one sloping wall, simultaneously performing the role of a roof, that is, a peculiar canopy. It covers from the sun, drizzling rain or wind blowing in one direction. This type of tent does not protect against cold, since one side is fully or partially open. In warm weather, you can spend the night, but the comfort of such a vacation will not be different.

How to make a lean-to hut with your own hands:

  1. Find 2 trees standing close to each other. Or drive into the ground 2 poles with branches at the desired distance.
  2. On top of the fork to lay the crossbar. If necessary, you can strengthen the connections by linking the crossbar with trees or poles with a vine.
  3. To lean against it at an acute angle a few long poles with a pitch of about 25 cm (so that when viewed from the side there is a triangle).
  4. Using branches of leaning poles, lay thin rods on them horizontally - this will evenly distribute the weight of the future flooring.
  5. Lay on the finished frame coniferous or deciduous branches, ferns, leaves, straw or other material.
  6. Cover the ramp and sides with branches, clothes or something else.

For this design is most often used added type of hut.

Dvukhskatny hut

Cozier shelter compared to a shed. Can protect against rain, hail, snow, wind, scorching sun or cold. Can be used for overnight stays or storage. Making a two-sided hut with their own hands is a little harder than a lean-to.

It is built in the same way as the single-slope, only long poles are installed at an acute angle to the top beam on both sides. The "back" part should be completely closed with rods, branches, spruce branches or leaves. The "front" part will serve as an entrance, it can be partially covered, for greater comfort and better heat preservation inside the hut in the forest.

For shelter from rain, the thickness of the flooring should be at least 20 cm (uncompressed deciduous or coniferous branches) so that moisture does not leak through. And it is better to build a hut from the rain with the use of an awning or plastic film.

In rainy weather along the side walls, it is better to dig up small grooves to divert the flowing water away from the structure.

Circular hut

The design resembles a wigwam or chum in a simpler variation. Such a building effectively protects from the weather, as well as from the cold. A fire can be arranged inside the shelter, but in this case it is necessary to build a hut with a hole in the roof so that the smoke can easily escape from it. For the construction of such a shelter, you can use wood as a support, after making sure that it is strong and does not have on it, for example, ants. But then the fire inside will be impossible to do - only at the entrance.

All children love to play, building a shelter for themselves, a hut, or simply covering several chairs with bedspreads. Some parents scream and scold the kids for the mess. Others, trying to properly organize the space, and make children play safer prefer to build a hut together. So, from the usual routine work, the process turns into an exciting game in which children are happy to take part. How to make a good, high-quality and stable hut for games, and how to equip the playing place, we will look into the article.

How to choose the right place?

One of the main stages of the work is choosing the right place where the hut will be located. The main criterion for this is safety.

In any case, carefully looking around, each parent will find a place for such a simple building, which will certainly appeal to all kids.

Options huts for middle-aged children

Conventionally, all huts are divided into three groups:

  • Structures that are separate from other buildings
  • Structures adjacent to other buildings
  • Hut-dugout. These are structures that are installed in the recess.

When choosing a tent, which you will build, you need to take into account the peculiarities of the area, season, the possibility of precipitation, and many other factors. But, huts in the woods for survival, now they are building only scouts, in other cases, the building is being made for children's games in the country house or in a private house. There, children spend mostly summer holidays, because the best choice would be either side buildings or detached ones.

Tents with a hollow in the form of a dugout are more fond of building teenagers who came to the village to visit their grandmother for the summer. Usually, such a secluded place is kept secret from everyone, and serves as a kind of hiding place. But, of course, every responsible adult should always know exactly where the child is and whether it is safe for him there. At the same time, it is not necessary to reveal the secret of the guys, otherwise they will lose all interest in such games.

Options to create huts

But, this is all theory, and now let's consider in practice several options of huts that everyone can build.

Ordinary duo-pitch hut

The basis for the construction of this type of tent are two rattles and pole. The size of the resulting construction will depend on their size. Stick to this sequence of actions:

  • Measure the length of the pole, and it is at such a distance that you drive into the ground of the spear. This should be done until they are a third in the ground. It is important that they are at the same height, otherwise the hut will be skewed. It depends on the stability of the basic elements how strong and durable your hut will be.
  • The pole is placed on the spear. If you see fit, you can strengthen it with a rope or wire.
  • Next, tedious to find a few poles, which will serve as a support for the laying of natural material. If there are none, you can take twigs, or even thick branches, after clearing them from knots and leaves.

Their number depends on the size of the hut, and the frequency of the step. If you have a lot of material, you can fit it close to each other, thus obtaining dense walls that will not need to be supplemented with branches, spruce paws, reeds, or other natural materials.

But, most often the side supports are installed about 25 cm apart. If you consider it necessary, you can additionally strengthen the wall with transverse branches fixed to with the help of wire, or even with ordinary twine.

  • The final stage of the work - laying lapnik, or any other material, whose main goal is to strengthen the walls, and make them whole, without holes and crevices. Starting work is best from the bottom, gradually moving up to the top. Thus, the top layer will cover the bottom, and in case of rain the moisture does not get inside.

Leanbox

This kind of device is very common, because for its construction you need very little time and materials. To build it, follow the algorithm:

  • Make the base of the pole and two cattle as in the previous version.
  • Support only on one side.
  • Cover the side supports with the material you have chosen to decorate the walls.

In some cases, the parents, instead of walls, tarp, or any other water-repellent fabric. From above it is attached to the frame with the help of ropes, and from below it is fixed with a log or bricks. So moisture can not penetrate into the middle of the shelter.

This type of tent can be used as a separate structure, and make it adjacent to the house or other building.

Wigwam

This type of tent was actively used in our country relatively recently. In appearance, the structure really resembles an Indian wigwam, and it is built very simply:

  • Choose a comfortable and spacious place and draw an even circle. Its size should be enough so that children can play there freely, so that they are not embarrassed by anything.
  • Dig into the ground a few poles or thick sticks (their number depends on the size of the hut).
  • From above, collect all the poles in a kind of "bundle", and fasten with wire, rope, or regular tape.

The frame is ready. Now you need to make the walls. To do this, you can use either of the two options:

  • Plant around the perimeter of climbing plants. Of course, it will take some time for it to plait all the walls, but on the other hand, the beauty of the resulting shelter for children's games will be difficult to overestimate. Beans, wild grapes, or flowers are perfect for this.
  • A faster option is to use a thick fabric. In this case, you will finish the work on the same day. Wigwam looks very beautiful, wrapped in a colorful and bright fabric, but you can use any that you have in your home.

Secure the fabric to the top, and press it down with bricks or logs from the bottom, and the tent for children is ready.

Wigwam Sunflowers

This is one of the most simple, and aesthetically beautiful solutions. But, to create it will take some time until the plants grow.

The essence of the work is to draw a circle for the wigwam in the chosen place in early spring and plant high sunflowers along its edge. It is better that they grow not in one row, but in a few, so the “walls” of the hut will be stronger, well, they will shine through.

When the sunflowers grow and throw out the color, you need to carefully tie their heads on top with a rope. Do this carefully so as not to damage the plant.

Cottage tent

This is the simplest design, since the base is not necessary. As it uses the wall of the house, a fence, or just a tree. Branches or poles that perform the role of side attachment rest on the base, and then covered with branches, another natural material, or thick cloth. Of course, the advantages of this hut in the ease of manufacture, and a minimum of materials and time spent.

Among the options described above, everyone will find something that will appeal to him.

Prefabricated huts for small children

For young children, you can make a hut for games in just a few minutes if you prepare in advance for this process. For this you will need:

  • A cut of dense fabric measuring 2x4 meters. Excellent if it is colorful and bright, so it will be even more interesting for children to play.
  • Two supports that will be placed opposite each other at a distance of two meters. You can dig them in the ground by about a third in length so that they are stable.
  • Strong rope, not less than 2.5 meters long
  • Pegs or hooks to stretch the fabric.
  • Stretch the rope between the two bases. It should be in the maximum tension, not sag.
  • Throw fabric over the rope. At the same time on both sides should be the same canvas. It is important to align the edges so that the hut is smooth.
  • Secure the edges to the ground with a peg. In order to make it more convenient, you can make small cuts in the fabric and insert rings. Thus, it will be possible to use the cut more than once.

  In our article you will learn how to decorate a site with the help of creation.

And then it’s your own fantasy. You can decorate the hut, lay a blanket or an old blanket on the ground, decorate the walls, put your favorite toys or books there. You can even conduct educational activities in such a hut, and the child will be engaged with pleasure.

As you see, anyone can make a hut for the child; it is not at all difficult. But, you need to have enough patience and desire, to allocate a few hours to the assembly. Choose the best option, and proceed boldly to work.

In return, you will receive a lot of joy and gratitude from the kids, who now have their own corner where they can play, secretly, and do whatever they want.

In contact with

There are things in the world that literally every child dreams of. This is not only a game console or a bicycle, the child also wants to have a place where he can feel himself the master. Therefore, many babies are always looking for a certain headquarters or game base. So why shouldn't they ease the task? Try to build a tree house for your child, and the joy of the baby will have no limits.

Of course, for the construction of such a house will take a lot of effort, but they will not be wasted. It is only necessary to show diligence, think carefully and prepare everything so that the construction of the house is safe and reliable for the child.

Treehouse for children with their own hands

The project described below for the construction of a children's tree house was developed taking into account safety, maximum preservation of trees and reliability of structures. This design is completely autonomous, so it can be installed absolutely anywhere, even where there are no trees. The house is based on a universal triangular structure, in principle, there is no need to bury supporting pillars deep into the ground - if there is a rocky flat platform, the house will hold well on it. Of course, the resulting construction will not turn out small, it is simply impossible to build in one day, but it will be interesting for children, especially if they are involved in work.

It is necessary to begin work with the manufacture of a triangular frame..

Assembling the site and stairs

Assembling the house

After that you can proceed directly to the assembly of the house:

Rail installation

The final step will be the installation of the railing.

  • Railing must be fastened to the rail and round off all sharp corners.
  • To beat or fasten balusters to a beam, and also to the lower part of hand-rail. The distance between them should be no more than 10 cm.
  • In conclusion, you need to install a safety chain with a latch.

It must be remembered that all children will check the strength of the house, so do not save on equipment and acquire low-quality materials.

We figured out how to make a tree house with your own hands. You can think up the interior of the orphanage yourself, discuss this issue with your child. You can install a bunk bed there, put a table, benches, shelves and much more.

Scheme for the construction of a hut on the ground

For the structure of the hut or Khalabuda, you need to find a suitable place. In no case should such a hut be installed in narrow gorges, on the banks of rivers, at the bottom of canyons. Regardless of whether the tent will be built in Russia or in another country, floods, sudden showers or leashes can occur everywhere. The main options for the location of the hut:

  • Hut in the mountain forest. For this area, it is best to select an auxiliary type for construction. This means that one of the walls of Halabuda or two walls will be made of stone or wood - part of the rock. In this case, we must try to avoid precipitation. Therefore, huts are not recommended to be located in hollows with obvious traces of water flows. Otherwise, the rules for the construction of the hut are the same as for a regular tent. The entrance to the hut should be located on the opposite side of the top. It is necessary to make a ditch along the perimeter so that during the rain water flows into it.
  • Hut in the plain forest. In the plain forest, you can build a deep, classic or a side hut. The place is selected based on the weather. In cold weather without rain, the hut is placed in a deep place, which will be a temporary shelter for him. During rains, these structures must be located on an elevated position.

The structure of the hut according to its type:

  • Classical. The construction of this type is made in the form of a fireplace for cooking. During construction, two poles or branches are installed vertically. The third fits on them in a horizontal position. The dressing is done with improvised means, stems, flexible branches, lianas. But there are several installation options. For example, two poles or flat branches that need to be cut with a knife should be installed at an angle of each other at the exit of the building and the back wall of the hut at a distance of about 2 m. After that, the main pole is laid horizontally on it. If a wigwam is constructed, then in this case the poles are stacked in a circle at an angle to each other in the form of a campfire, a living growing tree can be used as a support for them.
  • Attachment. This can also be attributed to the wigwam, which will be created on the basis of poles, resting on a rock in a mountainous area. At the same time walls are made, as well as at the specified classical tent.
  • Deep. This type of tent is similar to the classic one, but it is located in a hollow, it is something between a hut and a dugout. In this case, only the top is covered.

In the forest, in the absence of the usual sleeping bags, folding beds, inflatable mattresses and bedding, you must be able to adapt to such conditions. There are two types of arrangement of the floor in a hut: with the presence of the hearth and without it. As a rule, in the cool season it is necessary to protect the walls of the hut and fallen trees from the sparks of the hearth. Therefore, it is laid out in the center, limited to stones, the earth is poured between the stones, and a quarantine zone of about 20 cm is made around the hearth. The deadwood, represented by last year’s leaves with branches and shoots, is placed on the ground. You can also use extra clothes, polyethylene or tarpaulin.

Hut for children on the tree in stages

When building a tree hut everything is also quite simple and clear. If on the summer cottage there are two nearby trees, then between them you can build a good construction. This will require a minimum of time and building materials. Before you make a treehouse, it is necessary to stock up the following tools and devices:

  • Bolts
  • Plywood sheets: two of them are 10 mm thick, one is 20 mm thick.
  • Bars with dimensions of 50x150 mm and 50x100 mm.
  • Power saw or hacksaw.
  • Galvanized nails.
  • Beresta.
  • Ruberoid

The base of the hut is two 50x150 mm boards. In this case, they must be attached to two thick trees. It is quite simple. It is only necessary that the diameters of the tree trunks be about 20 cm. After that, from the plywood sheet, you need to cut the bottom with side walls, as well as the triangles for the brackets. This will require a little scrupulousness and patience.

Next, from the bars prepared in advance and filled in the half-tree, it is necessary to assemble the triangular sides. After that they are bolted. Then it is necessary to connect the assembled triangular sides with a ridge bar. Its cross section should be 50x100 mm.

These sidewalls are connected to two bars, which are below. With the help of the brackets, attach the received frame to the supporting boards, the cross section of which is 50x150 mm. They must be pre-attached to the trees.

After that, the bottom is taken, which is cut out of plywood. It drilled holes for nails. Then the bottom is nailed to the lower bars and logs with galvanized nails with large caps.

Next, you need to think about the construction of windows, hatches and roofs. It is recommended for this to use multi-layer roofing. This will ensure the reliability of the hut. In the first layer, approximately 10 mm thick plywood is used. The second layer may consist of roofing felt or glassine. Birch bark is ideal for the third layer.

Acquainted with the description of the manufacture of the house and the hut, everyone decides for himself how to build a structure for his child from scrap materials. The main thing in this case is to remember that the house for your child, above all, must be safe.

In this article we will talk about how to build a hut of boards independently, relatively quickly and efficiently. But, to begin with, let us see who and why such a construction may be needed.

The need to build a hut is relevant in relation to dacha and horticultural plots. That is, we are talking about those situations where there is a need for temporary housing, which, after one or another period, can be dismantled until the next time or not at all.

Again, you need to understand that the hut of planks is not a dilapidated structure made of straw and twigs, but a solid structure that is not inferior in its reliability to a light barn. So, what designs of board huts can you build with your own hands?

Ideas for self-assembly

Of those designs that can be translated into reality, without making excessive efforts, we note the following options:

  • structures where a frame is assembled from boardswhich will be sheathed by other more accessible materials;
  • structures fully assembled from sawn timber.

Consider specific examples of the assembly of one and another category of buildings.

Construction of a children's wooden wigwam

Who in childhood did not dream of his own small house? Probably owning your own small house is one of the many desires of your children. Let's try to make the childhood dream a reality.

As building materials we need:

  • timber 50 by 50 mm with a length of 2 meters - 4 pcs .;
  • edged board width 100 mm thickness 20 mm;
  • screws and mounting hardware in the form of plates with through holes;
  • paints for finishing lumber.

From the tools you will need:

  • tape measure and pencil;
  • hacksaw for wood;
  • screwdriver with drill function.

The construction instructions are as follows:

  • we prepare 4 beams, which will serve as diagonal supports for the assembled structure;
  • in the upper part of the beams we make a groove in the half-tree, so that the two boards form a single structure;
  • connect and get two designs with the same angle between the supports;
  • we have the assembled supports in the position in which they will later be installed in the finished hut;
  • we fix the boards with screws, as it is shown in the photo;

Tip: As a template for easy installation of the slats, you can use the board, put on the edge.

  • after the strips are installed we trim them at the end;
  • the ends of the slats are leveled with sandpaper so that the cutting line is smooth and does not leave splinters;
  • the finished structure is covered with several layers with a break for absorption and drying of each previous layer.

The finished structure in the warm season can be installed in the yard. With the onset of the cold season, a hut made of sawn timber can be brought into the house and installed in the nursery.

Assembly of a children's dvukhskatny tent

Another type of children's houses is a gabled structure covered with fabric. For the manufacture of such facilities will require an edging board with a cross section of 50 to 20 mm. In addition, you will need screws to assemble the frame.

Manufacturing instructions are as follows:

  • we cut ten beams two meters long each;
  • assemble 2 U-shaped frames, provided that the angle joint between all the beams is 90 degrees;
  • we measure 0.6 meters from the crossbar in the frames made on the sides and make marks;
  • on the marks made we fix the beams, which should be located parallel to the cross-beams;
  • we measure 0.6 meters from the installed beams to the sides and make marks;
  • on the marks made we attach one more cross beam, so that all the cross beams in the frames are parallel to each other;
  • assembled frames are installed diagonally, attached to each other and fastened with screws, as shown in the photo above;
  • the assembled structure is covered with a sheet or thicker material;
  • we fasten the canvas in the lower part of the building with a stapler or push pins.

The finished hut, despite its lightness, is pretty durable. The construction can be installed on the lawn in front of the country house. If it became necessary to dismantle the hut, it is easy to disassemble it. You can not even remove the fabric, but simply unscrew the screws and put all the structural elements until the next time in the closet.

Important: In order to avoid cracking the wood during assembly and dismantling of the canopy, it is advisable to pre-drill small holes with a diameter of 2 mm and screw in the screws in them.

We build the hozblok

Holders of country cottages and cottages often face the problem of temporary storage of garden tools and harvested crops. Meanwhile, it is easy to solve this problem, it is enough to build a hut of building materials, the price of which is low. Such materials are edged boards and dry reeds.

Reed roofs have recently become increasingly popular in the construction of high-grade environmentally friendly country houses. Of course, such material in the arrangement of the roof of the shed would be an excellent and inexpensive solution.

As an example, consider the features of the assembly of the hut, shown in the photo. On average, it will take no more than a day to assemble such a construction, provided, of course, that the required amount of reeds will be prepared in advance.

Important: Harvesting reed for use as a roofing material is better in winter when the movement of fluids in the trunk is suspended.
  Harvested stems are laid out to dry one layer in a well-ventilated place.
  In the spring with warming you can start building.

Installation instructions are as follows:

  • prepare 4 boards (length 2.5 meters, cross section 20 by 2.5 cm) for assembling rafters;
  • we collect boards according to the shape of an inverted “V”;
  • in the upper and lower parts of the rafters we attach transverse beams, which should be parallel to each other;

Important: Depending on the length of the beams attached to the rafters, the length of the building will be determined.

  • from narrow slats we make obreshetku on the side, front and rear of the hut and at the same time do not forget to collect the opening for the installation of the door;
  • reed stalks knit sheaves and begin to lay in the direction of the bottom-up, so that the above sheaves lay down on the downstream;
  • from the top of the ridge you can fasten a strip of tin bent in the form of rafters so that rainwater does not penetrate inside;
  • the door to the building is made as a dial-up boardwalk, which is hinged;
  • at the end of construction work in the tent, you can equip shelving.

How to extend lumber resource

So, we learned what and how can be built using a standard edging board. It remains to get acquainted with the popular methods of effective protection of lumber from the negative impact of environmental factors.

If you operate a hut made of wood in the open air, due to the long-term direct sunlight and precipitation, the wood may begin to rot or, on the contrary, crack with the formation of cracks.

In order to prevent damage to the lumber, you must properly prepare the wood before you build your own hut. The preparatory work consists in the processing of wooden parts with special impregnations of strengthening disinfecting and fire-fighting effects.

If there are doubts about the appropriateness of the use of a particular impregnation, you can use universal tools that combine all the previously listed qualities. For example, impregnations of deep penetration, which include antiseptics and flame retardants, are quite functional.

Wood processing is carried out in the open air under a canopy at a temperature of at least + 5 ° C. Impregnation is applied with one layer, after which it is necessary to wait until it is completely dry and you can start applying a protective paint coating.

Conclusion
