Sometimes when performing repair work it is required to attach polypropylene pipes or other means of communication to the wall, for example, to set up the pipeline. The task, at first glance, looks quite simple, but it is not. How and how to fix the pipe to the wall will be discussed in this article.

  Tools and materials required for pipe fasteners

For mounting pipes to the wall, various tools and fixtures are needed. Their choice depends on the materials from which the communication system is made. It is necessary to take into account the length, diameter and weight of the line.

Used pipe fasteners in the wall:

  • Hose clamps. Their internal diameter must be larger than the external diameter of the pipe. For a more reliable grip, there must be a rubber liner on the yoke. Its popularity is due to the fact that it is easy to adjust the diameter. Clamps are metal or plastic. It is advisable to purchase a product from the same material of which the pipe is made. Clamps are divided into four types: locking, supporting, guides and for protection.
  • Brackets. They are used for the installation of steel products. However, instead of using special brackets, as well as metal clamps with gaskets. If it is necessary to place the pipe at some distance from the wall, then brackets are used.
  • Clips. These fasteners are most often plastic. Therefore, they are often used to fasten pipes of the same material. But they are also used for plumbing or hot water sites. Specialists for these purposes are advised to choose double clips. But they are not suitable if the diameter of the corrugated pipe or other element exceeds 50 mm.

Any of these things can be easily bought on the market or in a hardware store. Anchor bolts are well suited for fastening pipes to the ceiling.

The type of communication will determine which fasteners will be used. Do not forget about the purpose of the mounted products. This may be plumbing, sewage or heating system. It is important to choose the right fixing tools, as well as to read the instructions for their use. In this case, you get a reliable design with a long service life.

  The principle of mounting pipes to the wall

Now consider how to fix the heating pipes to the wall. There are two ways to accomplish this task: hard and floating. The first one is intended for sewage systems, heating systems and other pipelines through which hot or cold water will be transported. In this case, the fasteners completely fix the movement of the communication elements. The fitting here is a rigid support.

In a floating mount often used clamps that do not tighten to the stop. In this case, the small mobility of the system elements is retained. This mounting option is possible only when the inner diameter of the clamp is larger than the outer diameter of the pipe.

When installing the pipeline, in no case should we forget about the effect of temperature differences. If the room is heated, then this phenomenon will not occur, then the fastening is best done in a rigid way (read also: ""). The choice is due to the fact that in such conditions the pipes do not move. Fixation of communication elements should be done in the place of bends, turns, or connections with valves.

The movable version is used in case of possible temperature differences. Indeed, then the expansion or contraction of pipes is possible. And loose clamps give them the ability to resize, remaining in its place. As it has already become clear, the choice of mounting option depends on the purpose of the pipeline, as well as possible temperature fluctuations.

  Fastening sewer pipe

For fixing plastic pipes, various fittings (splitters, angles, etc.) are used. To complete the task, you may need different end devices. So called faucets and drain valves. Their choice will be based on the purpose of the communication system.

If you plan to install a serious engineering system, you will need accumulators, valves and similar devices. It is also possible to mount the clip for polypropylene pipes (read also: ""). This option is also used to complete the task.

For fixing plastic and metal-plastic elements to the wall itself clips are used. It is important to correctly choose their size, in accordance with the diameter of the nodes of the pipeline. Still need screws and dowels. There are special clips for polypropylene pipes, combined with dowels. Their use will greatly facilitate the installation process.

But to complete the task we need not only fasteners. Still need special scissors for cutting water pipes and welding device. It allows you to perform a reliable and durable connection of the elements of the system. To fix the dowels need punch. Also in the process you will need: a pencil, level, roulette or ruler.

An important nuance: before starting the installation of the pipeline, it is necessary to make calculations carefully. It is important to determine the distance between fasteners. For plastic pipes it should be about two meters. And for metal elements it is necessary to take a smaller step.

The algorithm for fixing sewer pipes to the wall using the above-mentioned fasteners:

  • The first step is markup. An axis should be drawn on the wall surface. Here you will need a pencil, ruler and level. It will be used for laying pipes and fasteners.
  • For reliable fastening, dowels and screws are used. They are selected depending on the material of the walls. If you plan to place the pipeline at a small distance, then you will need brackets.
  • As soon as the marking is completed, the pipes are laid on supports.
  • Then they are fixed to the wall with the help of the prepared clamps (read: "").
  • Fasteners for polypropylene pipes must be fastened with a metal stud.

It is important to remember that when laying the pipeline it is necessary to maintain a slight slope. Experts recommend leaving a deviation of 2 cm per meter of distance. A slope is required for the smooth transport of fluid through the pipeline. It should be planned in such a way that it contains the minimum number of right angles. The presence of such turns contributes to clogging of the system, which should be avoided.

  Hiding polypropylene pipe in the wall

The best implementation of the pipeline is to lay it in grooves or channels. This method will protect the system from the negative effects of the environment and other factors. A high-quality fixation allows to reduce the voltage in the pipeline.

Let us see what is the procedure for installing the communications system in this way. First of all, a hole is made in the wall under the channel. All piping elements are protected with soft material (read: ""). Most often for these purposes they use mineral wool and corrugated cardboard, but there are other options.

If there is such a need, then heat-insulated and water-repellent gasket is harvested. Then you can proceed to the installation of pipes in the completed channel. All communications are sealed with putty, or they can be hidden by various finishing elements. At the end of the final finishing of the walls. The result of these actions will be entirely hidden pipeline.

Important! When laying the pipes and fixing them to the wall, it is necessary to strictly follow the building regulations, select high-quality and suitable materials, prepare the necessary tools, calculate everything in advance and take a responsible approach to work. This approach will provide a reliable and durable communication system.

Proper installation of the pipeline requires the use of special fasteners. They make installation of external systems. The range of fasteners is very diverse, so it is important to know which option is required in a particular case.

One of the most popular today is a bracket for mounting pipes, with which you can achieve a secure fit with the observance of technology. The brackets are the supporting parts used for high-quality installation of structures on the walls, floor, ceiling.

The design features of fasteners may be different, since this is determined by the specifics of the work. Its function is the mechanical resistance to any shear and chipping.

Features of use

For reliable fastening of pipelines of various diameters brackets are used. Often they are used in production when it is necessary to install water or air supply systems in workshops. Consumer properties of the considered fasteners are very good, however, it is not an independent element. Additionally used clamps, various supports and suspensions.

One of the main advantages of pipe clamps is their ease of installation. The procedure does not require special skills, it is easy for a person doing this for the first time to cope with it. The advantage is a high degree of strength, allowing the product to withstand impressive loads without losing the original properties.

In addition, fasteners are famous for their durability, coping with the task entrusted to it throughout the entire period of operation of the fixed structure. Metal fasteners are nickel-plated, obtaining a high degree of resistance to corrosive processes.

When mounted in a wall made of concrete or brick, plastic dowels are used together with brackets, which are recessed not less than 25 mm. The fastener itself is screwed into the installed dowel. If mounted on a metal surface, bolts, riveting or welding equipment is also used.

Types of fasteners

The question of which bracket is better certainly arises at a certain stage of construction or repair. To answer it, it is necessary to have a clear idea about the features of the work ahead and the parameters of the pipes.

In the case of a large diameter of the latter, their considerable weight is recommended to use double fasteners. For small pipes single elements are quite suitable.

Installation of the pipeline is made, as a rule, with the use of metal holders made of durable steel. It is possible to mount directly to the surface. The choice of steel holders is directly determined by the design features, the degree of future load.

To fix the pipeline in two ways - rigidly or loosely. Rigid mounting is carried out in places of high load, where there is a risk of violation of the integrity of the structure.

Free fastening is necessary where there is the effect of thermal expansion of the material. Brackets for heating pipes allow them to move freely inside the fastener during expansion, but securely fix the entire system to the wall.

The brackets can be made of metal or plastic, depending on the purpose of use. In this case, they are divided into solid (one-piece) and composite (detachable).

The fixing of heavy metal pipelines is carried out with the help of holders with a pin screwed into a certain surface, near which the pipeline itself is located.

There are models of pipe brackets with rubber seals to avoid mechanical damage during clamping. The fastener diameters are diverse and fit almost any pipe. The size range is from 14 mm to 540 mm.

Distance between fasteners

Polypropylene pipes must be attached to the wall with a certain step, which depends on their diameter and temperature mode of operation.

Heating the air in the room, the coolant in the system inevitably leads to thermal expansion, from which it is impossible to completely get rid of even when using reinforced pipes. Installation of the heating system can be easily carried out using plastic pipe brackets.

Moreover, the distance between fasteners must meet a certain standard, developed on the basis of many years of operational experience. On the example of a polypropylene pipe brand PN 20 it is easy to see the differences. With a pipe diameter of 25 mm and a coolant temperature in the system of 20 ° C, the mounting step should be no more than 1 m.

When the temperature of the coolant rises to 80 ° C, the distance should not exceed 85 cm. More detailed information can be easily seen in the relevant tables.

A competent approach to the choice of brackets and compliance with the entire technology of installation work will give a guarantee in terms of durability and reliability of fixing the piping system.

Before you go shopping or order fasteners in an online store, you should carefully review the photo of pipe brackets. Thanks to this, you can easily choose the appropriate option in the whole variety of assortment.

Photo of pipe brackets

If it is necessary to lay communications in public and residential buildings, an important point is the fastening to the pipe wall. Depending on what products are used, different types of fasteners can be used. The latter differ structurally, according to the material and method of fixation in the wall.

The method of attachment will depend not only on the pipes themselves, but also on the type of wall. The main types of pipes that are used when laying communications can be divided into the following categories: drainpipes and polypropylene pipes. The latter option is used for laying sewage and water systems. They can vary in diameter, and for fixing clips and clamps are used.

If we are talking about something they intend to make them out of metal or plastic, and fixing is carried out with the help of special clamps. used for installation of water supply, gas and sewage. Clamps can be used to attach them.

Preparation of tools and materials

If you will be mounted to the wall, then you need to stock up on some tools and materials. It:

  • hammer;
  • crosshead screwdriver;
  • roulette;
  • marker;
  • drill;
  • knife or scissors for cutting pipes;
  • level.

Use clamps

If it is necessary to mount the pipe to the wall, then you can use for this purpose various clamps, which can be plastic as well as metal. The first type is used for the installation of sewage systems, drainage systems and polypropylene pipes. These elements are a support with a dowel, which is installed in the wall. For the fixation of the pipe, a semicircle is used, which is connected to the support-screw element.

Fastening to the wall of the pipe can be carried out using metal clamps, which are designed for pipes of the same material. Sometimes they are used for mounting plastic systems. These elements are a support with a shock anchor or an anchor for wall mounting. The pipes are fixed with a semicircle on the screw connections. The outer diameter of the pipe inside the clamp has a rubber ring, which is used to reduce noise and damping vibration.

Use staples

Fastening to the wall of the pipe can be carried out not only by the above described technology, but also with the help of brackets. If the pipes will be used for the arrangement of the water supply system, then this technique can be used. This element is a support of nylon, which is fixed with dowels to the wall. In it to snap the pipe.

When laying the system, the brackets are distributed along the axis of the water supply system, and the distance between them should be 50 cm. To install them, a marking is applied to the wall, along which holes are made. After the brackets are installed in their places, and the pipe is laid on them. If we are talking about a sewer pipe, then it can use metal or plastic clamps.

More about mounting drainpipes

Pipe clamps are used according to a specific method. If you purchase plastic pipes, suitable hose clamps should be included with them. To install them on the wall, it is also necessary to make a markup, given that the first hole should be placed under the catchment basin. The distance between the other mounts should be 50 cm or less. It is important to calculate the pitch between fasteners in such a way that there are two collars per running meter of pipe.

For gutters, you must use brackets that are attached to the frontal board or rafters with screws. When performing the marking it is necessary to consider the slope of the drain, it should be 3 mm per linear meter. Some home craftsmen think about what to choose - brackets or pipe clamps. Staples are a cheaper method, but not as reliable. Therefore, quite often metal pipes are fixed with clamps, which consist of a support that is installed in the wall with a dowel or anchor.

Using clips

Choosing a mount for plastic pipes, you may prefer clips that have high heat resistance properties and are resistant to mechanical stress. Among the technical characteristics should pay attention to the diameter, which should be equal to this indicator polypropylene pipes. How well the installation of fasteners will be carried out will affect the service life of the finished communication system.

If the clips are set too far apart, there may be a bend in the places of the supports. When installing a communication system with parallel-placed pipes, use a double clip. It is important to know about the dependence of the distance between the clips on the temperature and diameter of the pipe. Thus, if the pipe diameter is 16 mm and the temperature is 20 ° C, the distance between the clips should be 75 cm. With the same pipe diameter and temperature of 80 ° C, the distance should be reduced to 55 cm. When the diameter increases to 32 mm and the temperature remains at 20 ° C, the distance between the clips should be equal to 100 cm. The same pipe diameter and temperature at 70 ° C require adherence to a distance of 75 cm. With a pipe diameter of 110 mm and a temperature of 40 ° C the distance between the clips should be 175 cm, whereas if however, the temperature increases to 70 ° C, the distance should be equal to 140 cm. It is also important to remember that the bracket for fastening the pipe to the wall should be selected taking into account the external diameter of the system element to be installed.

Fixation of polypropylene pipes with clamps is carried out in cases when it is necessary to mount pipes of impressive diameter and with heavy weight. With the help of these elements, the pipe will be reliably held, and strong vibrations will be leveled. pipes to the wall comes with a hose clamp, such fixation provides a rigid grip, which is possible to achieve due to tight clamping of the hose clamp around the pipe. If the mount should be floating, then between the clamp and the tube should be left free space for the movement of the element. The mobility of fasteners ensures the possibility of expansion of the material during temperature fluctuations.

Conclusion

Before installing the pipe on the fasteners in the wall, it is necessary to connect the elements to each other using polyfusion or butt welding, which is sometimes replaced by an electrical fitting method. Holes for dowel-nails in the wall are made with a drill.

Reliable fastening of pipes of engineering communications has a direct impact on their service life. For those cases when the water supply or sewage system is not laid in the gutter, various methods of fastening the pipe are used.

External fastening of pipes, depending on their material, is carried out most often with the help of plastic clips or metal clamps with rubber gasket.

Pipe Clamps

Clamps are made of zinc-coated steel. They are assembled with screws from two half-rings, to one of which a pin is attached. Half rings are connected with screws. To reduce noise from pipe vibration, a rubber gasket is included. The diameters of the clamps are different - from 14 to 222 mm. Fastening of pipes is carried out in such sequence of actions.

  1. On the centerline of the pipe in the place of its attachment on the surface of the wall mark the fixation points.
  2. With a perforator in the brick or concrete wall at the points marked drill holes for plastic dowels. The distance between fixing points is chosen in such a way (usually 0.5 m) so that the pipe does not deform. Near pipe bends, install additional clamps at a distance of at least 150 mm from the corner.
  3. Insert the dowels into the wall and screw the clamps all the way. The steel clamp for fastening pipes must be oriented perpendicular to the pipe itself.
  4. Loosen the bottom screw connecting the half ring clamp, and take the front half ring down.
  5. They put the pipe into the clamps and fix it, tightening the half rings with screws. Tighten all screws to stop.

Important: for fixing the pipeline of hot water or heating choose clamps that do not prevent the expansion of the material.

Pipe clip

Plastic clips most often fix polypropylene pipes for indoor water supply. Clips are double (for fastening hot and cold water supply, laid in one direction) and single. Such fastenings are used for pipes for fixing light communications with a diameter of not more than 50 mm This is done as follows.

  1. Marked space for drilling holes for clips.
  2. Punch drilled holes.
  3. Insert the plastic dowel clips into the holes and press against the wall. If provided by the design - screw the screw into the hole of the dowel (for better fixation).
  4. The pipe is inserted into the clips, which initially expand, and then contract and tightly clasp the element.

Important: the pipe should be fixed to the wall, floor or ceiling, taking into account the thermal expansion of the material. For hot water supply or heating, additional pipe fittings are provided. Pipe bends should be minimized at right and sharp angles to avoid blockages. The pipes are fixed to the ceiling with anchor bolts.

Arm for a metalplastic pipe

Securely fix the pipe made of metal can be using special brackets. Unlike clips, in the upper part of the brackets there are special fasteners that do not allow the pipe to move. This is important when installing vertical communications.

Fastening of sewer pipes

Fastening of plastic sewage pipes outside is carried out using metal clamps. Can also be used plastic bracket for fastening pipes with a special fastener. They must be located near the joints of the sewage parts to increase rigidity. The following rules should also be observed during installation.

  1. When laying pipes in a screed or shtrob, you need to put them in a corrugated sheath or polyurethane cuff: this will allow the plastic to expand freely. In extreme cases, you can use corrugated cardboard.
  2. Mounts for risers should be aligned, the pipe should be at least 5 mm from the wall.
  3. When marking the points for mounting loungers, for normal flow there should be a minimum slope of 20 mm per 1 m.
  4. The distance between the wall and the lounger tube should be minimal: this is important for the rigidity of the entire system.
  5. For a dial sewer system of pipes with a diameter of 100 mm, fasteners are installed at a distance of no more than 800 mm from each other; for pipes with a diameter of 50 mm, this distance is 400 mm.
  6. For mounting a large diameter pipe sewer system using only metal clamps. The pairing of elements will be best if you use all the fasteners of the same manufacturer and one brand.
  7. The use of wooden fillers instead of plastic dowels is not allowed.

Important: for pipes, you should choose fasteners only of the appropriate diameter. A small gap is allowed to compensate for thermal expansion, which is especially important in an unheated room.

Steel pipe fastening

In some cases it is necessary to solve the problem of fastening pipelines made of metal. This material is still used in the installation of heating and plumbing: copper and stainless steel pipes last longer than plastic.

Fastening for metal pipes is also made of metal. It may be:

  • bracket for fastening pipes;
  • clamp with rubber gasket and without it;
  • bracket.

During installation, you must consider the following nuances.

  1. When laying pipes horizontally, fewer fasteners are required than with vertical ones: in this case, the weight of the metal does not have a bending effect. The distance between the clamps for vertically laid water supply is increased by 10%.
  2. Thin tubes require more fastener points than thick ones.
  3. In the lower part of the vertically installed pipe, which passes into the horizontal plane, an additional rigid metal clamp for fastening the pipes must be installed. The deforming load should not be transferred to the lounger.

In that case, if it is necessary to fix or connect rectangular pipes (square section), use fasteners that follow its contour. It is used in the assembly of greenhouses with a metal frame and shelving. Fastening for a profile pipe can be T-shaped, cross-shaped and straight.

How to fix pipes of warm floors

In the collector cabinets a set of special brackets for distribution combs is installed. The pipes in them are clamped with plastic or metal clamps. On the floor surface, the pipeline is fixed with staples to a heater, to a reinforcing mesh or to a special tape.

The information presented in the article will help you to perform the installation yourself, the quality of which is not inferior to a professional one, while observing the basic rules.

Specialization: master in the construction of drywall constructions, finishing works and laying flooring. Installation of door and window blocks, facade finishing, installation of electricians, plumbing and heating - I can give detailed advice on all types of work.

Without fastenings, it is impossible to lay any pipelines - from water supply and heating to sewage and drainage systems. I will tell and show you which product options are best used in a given situation and how to fix pipes with them. You just need to choose the type that best suits your conditions and, using the tips from the article, quickly and efficiently install the system.

Description of each of the options

We will understand the main types of products and consider the advantages and disadvantages of each of them. I will tell you about my own experience of use, especially since I very often in my practice dealt with fasteners for the pipeline and I can tell a lot of practical, rather than theoretical information about each variant.

Option 1: metal clamps

This option is the most universal of all and can be used both for the thinnest pipes and for products of large diameter. We will deal with the design of products, especially since it is the same for the smallest and the largest options:

Half rings of different diameter With their help, the pipe is clamped, so it is important to choose a variant of a certain diameter. The elements are fastened together by means of screws, with which you can adjust the clamping force, as well as vary the size in a small range.
Rubber pads They are put on the half-rings and are necessary in order to fit snugly to the pipe, to provide a more reliable fixation on the surface, and also to dampen the vibration that inevitably forms when liquid passes through the pipe.
Mount studs It is welded to one of the half-rings and is not a separate node, but I want to pay special attention to this element, since problems often arise with it. The fact is that the thread can be of two types - M8 and M10, so you need not make a mistake when choosing the studs. The best solution - the universal version with a step nut M8 / M10
Stud screw This element can have a different length - from 80 to 180 mm and even more. Upon purchase, the optimal length is selected depending on the design of your pipeline.

The price of products is quite democratic, so an option of 32-35 mm in size will cost about 15 rubles per set, and a larger product, for example, a 210-219 mm clamp will cost about 90 rubles.

Let us figure out how to mount from the pipe using such nodes, below is a diagram of the process by which it will be easy to understand the works:

  • First you need to hold on the wall a line along which the pipe will be mounted. After that, you need to mark the location of the clamps, they are usually placed every 50 cm, if the design has turns, then these areas are further enhanced. Clamps must be placed no closer than 150 mm to the corners;
  • Using a perforator, drill holes for dowelsif the stud has a diameter of 8 mm, then a dowel of 12 mm is used, and if you have a variant with a diameter of 10 mm, then it is better to use a dowel of 14 mm;

  • Then the dowels are driven into the holes and the stud screws are screwed in., after which the clamps are screwed on them (you can screw in the studs with the clamps already fixed, there is not much difference), the design should be perpendicular to the future pipe;
  • One screw is unscrewed, the upper half-ring is retracted (do not lose the gasket that stands between the halves), after which a pipe is put into the construction. The half-ring is put in its place and twisted with a screw; in this, the work can be considered successfully completed.

Option 2: plastic clips

This element is also well known to almost all people, because with the help of such units the vast majority of pipes, which are widely used in heating and water supply, are fixed. As for the main features of the products of this type, they are:

  • Polystyrene acts as production material  - durable and reliable material that ensures durability of fasteners and its resistance to adverse effects;
  • Designs are single and double, the second type is ideal for plumbing, where there are parallel hot and cold water supply. This design allows you to speed up the workflow and lay the pipes perfectly smooth, because the distance between them will always be the same;

  • Even if you have single elements, you can fold them into the design thanks to the special grooves that are on the products. With the help of connecting nodes you can combine elements of different diameters, which is very, very convenient when laying communications;

  • The diameter of the elements varies from 16 to 50 mmthat is, they are intended for use in lightweight structures;
  • As for the construction, the elements can be in the form of clips, which are fastened to the wall with a dowel and self-tapping screw, or they can be manufactured as a solid unit, which already has a dowel, this greatly simplifies installation.

As for the cost, the clip for fastening pipes costs from a half rubles and more, in some regions the price may be even lower. That is, you will not incur the big expenses.

Fixing pipes with clips is not difficult:

  • The layout of the future location of the clips is made, it is important to carry out this work accurately and carefully so as not to drill out the extra holes;
  • Further drilling is performed using a perforator with a drill with a diameter of 8 or 10 mm, depending on the size of the dowels used;
  • After that, the dowels are inserted into the holes and the clips are attached, the screws must be carefully screwed in so that the spacer part is securely fixed in the wall;
  • At last, the pipe snaps into place in the clip, this is done with little effort. If done correctly, your design will be neat and durable.

Option 3: pipe clamps

This option resembles clips, but has its own characteristics:

  • The main difference of this product group is the closed design.that is, you do not snap the pipe, but securely fix it. This gives additional reliability, which is especially important on vertical sections of the pipeline;

  • The design can be of two types, the first option is shown above and is a system in which the screw simultaneously fixes the dowel in the wall and clamps the fastening of the pipe. The second one is different in that the snap-on part is not connected to the screw and, in order to remove the pipe, it is not necessary to unscrew the fasteners, which is very convenient during repair and maintenance;

  • There is a third option - nodes, to which plugs are purchased additionally. Their plus is that they cost less and if you have dowels, you can save;

Very often, this type of product is called a clip with a clip, in principle, the name does not matter much, the main thing is to understand what you need and choose exactly the option that is suitable for the best result. As for the cost, it varies from 2 to 12 rubles, depending on the design and manufacturer.

Most often this option is used as a fastener for metal-plastic pipes, as it allows you to securely fix the position of the structure.

On installation, everything is quite simple: it does not differ from the above described version of products. The only difference is that you need to open the retainer before installing the pipe, and then securely latch it.

When buying, pay special attention to the quality of the latches. I have come across cheap options in which plastic cracks after 2-3 openings and closures.
  It is important that the material is not brittle.

Option 4: pipe brackets

This option has many features:

  • Products are made of galvanized metal.that gives them special strength and durability. They are used where the highest importance is placed on reliability and durability. When choosing, pay attention to the thickness of the metal; the larger it is, the greater the load the element can withstand;
  • The classic version is a double-holed pipe clamp.This is a very simple product, which is a curved element on both sides of which there are lugs for attaching the pipe to the wall. The most important thing here is to choose the design of the required diameter;

  • The second option - P-shaped bracketwhich is a product in which both ends are joined together into an eyelet through which the fastening is made. Such elements are well suited for attaching pipes, hoses, corrugations and more. The sizes vary in a wide range: such brackets can have a diameter from 10 to 120 mm;

  • One-footed bracket for attaching the pipe to the wall is used where the load is small.

If necessary, all brackets can be equipped with a rubber gasket to eliminate vibration of pipelines and more reliable fixation of elements.

As for the cost, it varies in a fairly wide range, so a two-hinged brace for a 25 mm pipe diameter costs 4-5 rubles, and an R-shaped version of the same size will cost about 9 rubles. Single-legged options cost almost as much as two-legged ones.

Installation is not complicated, for work it is necessary to additionally purchase dowels, if the base is wooden, then ordinary self-tapping screws of the appropriate size will suffice.

If there is no fastener on hand, the P-shaped bracket can be made of tin strip itself, which can be bent in size.

Option 5: anchor brackets and dowel hooks

This group of products is most often used in systems of water underfloor heating and has its own characteristics:

  • Dowel hooks fix one or two pipes at once, for mounting screws are not needed, the spacer part is simply hammered into a pre-drilled hole and due to its shape it does not allow the clamp to jump out;

  • Anchor brackets are designed exclusively for floor heating systems and are fasteners with a special form of the shank, which allows you to freely insert it into the hole, but it is rather difficult to get it back. Products are intended for fastening pipes in the insulating layer;

  • It is very important that the products are made of durable impact resistant polystyrene.otherwise, during the attachment you will break half of the elements.

The cost of such products is small - about 2 rubles apiece, but you need a lot of them. As for the fastening process, it is simple: holes are made, after which the fasteners are put in place and pressed, this is the end of the job. There is no need for instructions, since everything is clear, it is important to do everything carefully and not to save on the number of fasteners, the design should be fixed very securely.

Dowel-hooks can also be used on walls, but they are not designed for heavy loads, therefore, only lightweight structures can be fixed in this way.

Conclusion

Of course, the mounting options are much more, I talked about those that are used most often. All considered options can be used when doing your own hands, for this you do not need to have any special skills and do not need to use a special tool.

The video in this article will tell in more detail about some of the important nuances discussed in the review and will help to understand the topic even better. If you do not understand anything, feel free to write questions in the comments below.
